Student life

Each year around 150 study abroad and 1,300 new undergraduate students join City University. In total there are almost 11,500 students, making City a mid-sized British university.

You can study at City for a full year programme from September to May, an autumn/fall term programme from September to December or a spring semester programme from January to April. Your class choices are drawn from our regular degree programmes. Study abroad students have valued “the friendly atmosphere between staff and students” and that “the professors understand and are willing to help with any questions.”
