Admissions Requirements :
Undergraduate admissions requirements
To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program, you must meet the following requirements.
High School Diploma or GED — You must self-certify using the Application for Admission form that you meet this requirement.
English Language Proficiency — You can take either a TOEFL or IELTS language test. The cut-off score for TOEFL is 79 (IBT) or 213 (CBT). The cut-off for IELTS is 6.5-band. This requirement is waived if your native language is English or if you have obtained a degree in an English-speaking country.
If you do not meet the language proficiency requirements, you will be required to attend an ESL program prior to starting your academic courses. If you graduate from the Stratford ESL Program, your TOEFL or IELTS test requirement is waived.
Enrollment Prior to High School Graduation — You may take undergraduate courses prior to completion of your high school program, if you have received permission of your advisor and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Final acceptance into the degree program will be granted only when you successfully complete your high school program or GED.
Graduate admissions requirements
To be admitted to a graduate degree program, you must meet the following requirements.
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree — If you apply with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree, you may be required to complete the equivalent of the fourth undergraduate year prior to starting graduate courses. If you transfer the courses from the 3-year degree to Stratford and complete the top-up program (typically 8 to 12 courses), you will receive a 4-year Bachelor’s degree from Stratford University and qualify for immediate entry into the graduate program.
Undergraduate Degree Related to your Graduate Program — If the undergraduate degree is not supportive, you may be required to complete undergraduate bridge courses (typically 4 to 8 courses). If you can demonstrate employment experience in which you have accumulated the required foundation skills, the bridge course requirement may be reduced or waived.
GRE or GMAT Evaluation of Academic Potential — You must complete the GRE for a technical Master’s degree or a GMAT for a business Master’s degree. Stratford has not established pre-defined GRE or GMAT cut-off scores. Your application is reviewed as a whole (transcripts, test scores, work experience, life achievements) to determine your potential for academic success.
GRE or GMAT test scores may be waived if you are transferring from a graduate program at another US institution, have prior work experience in the field, or have received a degree from an accredited US institution. Other waivers may be approved by the program Dean, or their designated representative.
