Visa Check List

The following documents must be submitted when applying for a Student Visa:

[ ] Study visa application form IMM 1294. Available at C.E.S office or to download at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1294B.PDF

[ ] Family composition form available from C.E.S or at http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/islamabad/family_composition-en.asp  (COMPLETELY FILLED IN & SIGNED)

[ ] 3 color Photographs

[ ] Note: This form can be filled online as well & then you can take print

[ ] Study Visa Fee: Rs ——–/ Payment of FEE: Applicants should submit the fees in cash to one of 13 designated Standard Chartered Bank branches located in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot and Faisalabad.

[ ] Applicants will be issued a receipt by Standard Chartered Bank that they should then submit to the Canadian High Commission with their application. Please check web site http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/islamabad/fee_schedule-en.asp  to see if there is any change in visa fee.

[ ] Confirmed offer of acceptance from an educational institution in Canada.

[ ] Proof that you have paid fees for the first two semesters of your program.

[ ] Proof of you English language ability (TOEFL or IELTS results)

[ ] Proof of funds equivalent to 20 000 $ CDN. ( Rs.10 Lacs or more ) – Bank Statement of sponsor of last 4 months & Proof of Business.

[ ] Police certificates from all Districts in which you have resided since the age of 18

[ ] All previous educational documents copies attested by Notary Public

[ ] Proof of employment for yourself or your parents.

[ ] Processing Time: 4-6 weeks or more

[ ] NOTE: Visa files must be submitted and will be returned ONLY through a courier service

FEDEX. ( www.visadropbox.com ) . Student HAS TO GO IN PERSON with ORIGINAL Computerized NIC to submit or collect visa application.

Interviews will only be called in few cases. These will held usually on Monday or Wednesday mornings between 8.30 to 10 am & student MUST go with all visa file.
